Copyright and Content Removal

MoonScroll displays publicly posted videos from platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok so customers can study patterns in public short-form content. We do not host copies of those videos. We show them through the source platform’s own embed, and we store metadata and derived analysis (titles, captions, transcripts, summaries), not the original video file.

If you have rights in a public video or other work shown in MoonScroll and you do not want it displayed, we will remove it from the Service when you send a valid request.

Personal data requests (access, correction, deletion of information about you) are handled under our Privacy Policy at [email protected]. Use this page for content-rights takedowns.

How to request removal

Email [email protected] with:

  • Your name and a contact email
  • A link to the original post on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or another platform
  • The MoonScroll URL, if you have one, or enough detail for us to find the item
  • A short description of the work
  • A statement that you own the copyright or are authorized to act for the owner, and that you want the work removed from MoonScroll

We will review valid requests and, where appropriate, stop displaying the content and delete the related records we keep. We aim to respond within 30 days.

What we remove

When we grant a request, we remove the item from display in MoonScroll and delete or stop using:

  • Stored metadata for that video or post
  • Derived analysis tied to it (such as transcripts and summaries)
  • Thumbnails or embeds that would show it in the product

Removing content from MoonScroll does not remove it from Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or other platforms. Those requests have to go to the platform.

Misuse

Do not submit a removal request for content you do not have rights in. If we remove something in error, the affected customer or poster can write to the same address and we will take another look.
